This show continues to have massive problems.Aside from a few lines reminding us Steph went to jail last episode, the focus seems to be on three love triangles.Detective Brennan reappears and exchanges barbs with Declan while Donna continues to go goo-goo over Kate's love life, apparently having forgotten her husband just died again.But it's hard to get involved when the whole Kate/Brennan thing has just sprung up out of nowhere and there's no attempt to get us emotionally invested.
Elsewhere, Paul and Michael remain rivals for Rebecca's affections but end up coming to blows after their children hook up again.Neither of them is exactly covering themselves in glory in the parental stake and Michael's back to being blind to Natasha's faults.Meanwhile, Andrew continues to sleep with Natasha purely in order to have something to do, as the writers do their hardest to make sure we know they're not going to stay together.Except Andrew and Summer are completely unsuited as well so it's practically the lesser of two evils.
