- Some monsters you fight have their buttocks exposed, but nothing severe as they are demons/monsters.
Violence & Gore

- Players use pistols, shotguns, rocket launchers, and chainsaws to kill mutant enemies and demonic creatures. Large blood-splatter effects occur frequently as enemies get decapitated and/or dismembered during combat; a handful of sequences depict mutilated corpses strewn in the environment. Some attacks end in acts of violence: players using a chainsaw to slice open an enemy's head; players ripping out a creature's heart; players sticking a gun in someone's mouth and pulling the trigger.
- A lot more violent and graphic than its predecessors. This is absolutely nothing compared to the previous games, and it's extraordinarily visceral. The violence is also exponentially increased due to the game's insanely detailed and very realistic-looking graphics, which make this game look gorgeous, but it also enhances its graphic nature. This is not for the squeamish and the faint of heart or stomach, only those who are able to handle such levels of violence and brutality.
- There are lots and lots of strong carnage throughout, as Doomguy shoots, disintegrates and tears demons apart with extremely graphic results, all accompanied with insanely large quantities of blood, giblets, guts, gore and viscera being shed all over the areas and it all becomes a supermassive carnage. The violence in this game is extraordinarily extreme, graphic, brutal, gory and disturbing, and this is easily one of the most violent video games ever made.
- There's a weapon called the BFG 9000, a weapon of mass destruction that is the most powerful weapon in the entire game, and is a massive plasma gun that fires extremely potent orbs of ionized plasma, which will completely disintegrate and instantly kill every demon present in the area, causing them to totally explode into a thousand pieces as their remains are scattered all over the place. When this happens, masses of blood are shed and very large showers of gore will occur.
- When you're killed, the demons sometimes will sometimes rip out your limbs and beat you repeatedly with them, with very graphic results.
- This game introduces the "Glory Kills", which are triggered when the player is low in health, and these depict the demons being gruesomely executed in "Mortal Kombat" and "Brutal Doom" style, including them being curb-stomped, torn apart, sliced in half, dismembered, mauled, etc., and they're accompanied with incredibly frequent, frantic, intense, graphic and realistic violence, and they're played at a rapid pace.
- Doomguy rips, tears, blasts, smashes, bashes, slashes, crushes and explodes enemies in graphic detail the whole game.
- The most violent kills in the game are definitly the chainsaw kills, as they cut demons in half, with blood spraying everywhere
- The violence is more gory than almost all video games. You explode body parts, brutally dismember and cut up demons. However, it isn't quite as bad because it is fairly over-the-top and you never kill any humans.
- The player-character will traverse through various levels to complete objectives and side missions. Weapons such as a chainsaw, pistols, rifles, rocket launchers and shotguns can be used to battle enemies comprising of demons and monsters. The player can also attack enemies with melee strikes using punches and kicks.
- The level of violence is extremely gratuitous, gory and graphic and carries an incredibly high intensity, with frequent giant blood splatters when enemies are injured or killed.
- There are many scenes depicting enormous and MASSIVE pools of blood covering the environment, as well as mutilated corpses strewn about. You only kill monsters, but the ways they're killed are jam-packed with very strong, graphic violence and gore throughout, with plenty of guns, dismemberment, chainsaws, mutilation, etc. This is a very, very bloody and gory game with insanely large gallon buckets of raining blood, indeed.
- There are also frequent depictions of dismemberment and decapitation, accompanied by copious blood spraying, when characters are shot by powerful weapons or attacked with strong melee attacks and brutal kill moves. These include slicing enemies apart with the chainsaw, ripping their hearts out, executing them with the gun barrel inserted in their mouths, etc.
- There are several depictions of graphic violence in this game, such as killing, maiming and/or causing other serious injury to humanoid monsters, that are featured, and the violence itself is very extreme and abhorrent. The impact of the violence, however, is slightly mitigated by the game's fantastical setting, as well as the fact that the player-character, Doomguy, obliterates humanoid demons of a fictional universe, not human characters, but it's pretty graphic nonetheless.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The monsters and demons may be frightening for some people.
- This game is extremely violent and disturbing, but also incredibly gritty. It is much more violent and graphic than its predecessors, with a ton of graphic violence. Also, this game, just like its predecessors, contains violent and scary imagery that could be disturbing for some.
- The violence can be very disturbing and disgusting for some people, especially the squeamish and the faint of heart. Only for those with a very strong stomach, a strong heart and a nerve of steel.
- This game is bloodier, gorier, nastier, more disturbing and even more graphically violent than any other game in the "Doom" franchise, being only topped by its 2020 sequel "Doom Eternal".
- The games has lots of violent and scary imagery.
- 'Doom' is a sci-fi first-person shooter where the player takes on the role of a marine who is deployed to a base on Mars to eliminate hordes of demons that have invaded when a portal to Hell is opened.
