Material violin, immaterial and immortal soul

A close-up of Mahmoud Kabour ' s grandmother, a close-up of Mahmoud, the filmaker, the half- length of both connected by the grandfather' s music of violin. This is the gentle sequence that is the essence of different generations united by the love and the grandfather' s memory. He is out of this world but he continues to be in this world as the violin that is out of the window hanging but visible. The violin is material but the soul is immaterial, immortal.
