Warning: Spoilers
2011 opens with a funeral and a six week jump.Anyone trying to guess the identity of the deceased from the guests would be left very confused, as half of them never met him.The six week jump is a double-edged sword:We're suddenly presented with a series of confusing situations yet the actual cliffhangers to the previous series haven't actually moved on at all.

By the end of this episode we've been given the following facts:Ross is dead, Indigo passed her exams, Charlie and Angelo have split up(although they don't exactly act like it)and Romeo and Indigo have somehow become Ruby's best friends, whilst Nicole is nowhere to be seen.

Morag is written perhaps a bit too cold in the first half of the episode, even for someone recently widowed, and it's only towards the end, with her last chat with Charlie, that we begin to see a sense of warmth.Charlie seems to be getting it in the neck from Ruby as well, which doesn't help.

Irene's blind faith in Will, which was beginning to get irritating at the end of the previous series, is almost unforgivable here, as she's left branding Alf a murderer because it's easier to believe that. Not only is Will now irredeemable but she's heading that way as well.
