(Himself) : Some artists do function in relation to beauty, try to make beautiful things, and see that as their role, to provide and make beautiful things for people. But, I know I don't work that way. My work does come out of being frustrated about the human condition, how people refuse to understand other people, how people can be cruel to other people, it's not even that I'm interested in thinking that I can change that but it's such a frustrating part of the human condition because it's in human history that these things go on.
