His father's shadow is heavy

Amen Khalid, the son of the legendary director Mamat Khalid just took the helm. The very heavy helm. Can he exceed viewer's expectation who is so familiar with his father's direction. I think, if you like every Mamat's movie, you will like this one. It looks similar, nothing new. But I just want to highlight about the entity's character, it needs to look more dark, ghost with heavy make-up doesn't really work I guess. Even though there is some confusing stuff here and there. It is still enjoyable and fun to enjoy, the typical Mamat's cinema, his son, his legacy.

I don't know why they not settle the sponsorship issue or product placement in the 1st place, then need to blur some product/brands e.g. Kfc, McD so on. Supposedly, they need to settle this product placement stuff in the beginning, not after passed shootings stuff. In the end, the editting team, post-shooting team need to blur it. Idk, it's look so blurry & not professional. You can compare with other movies/dramas e.g. Kdrama as they already cover up, make new packaging, or juz taped the brand to avoid this sponsorship issue. Idk, and ignore the cheap looking cgi stuff, as we can understand the our local cgi quality or perhaps we don't need the cgi effects I guess.
