Movie audiences go to see Liam Neeson get revenge the way they once went to see John Wayne ride a horse or Carmen Miranda dance with fruit on her head; the movie itself could be great or mediocre, but there’s that satisfaction of watching a movie star do the exact thing that you want and expect them to do. As “solidly senior Liam Neeson kicks ass” vehicles go, “Honest Thief” falls firmly in the middle, nowhere near the heights of “Taken” but well above the depths of “Taken 3.”
Neeson, as a bank robber trying to turn himself in, is the above-the-title draw here, but “Honest Thief” ultimately belongs to Jai Courtney as a crooked FBI agent who complicates the title character’s confession by attempting to steal the money and kill anyone who gets in his way.

According to their press kit, The Como Brothers are required listening for those in the world partial to the sugary entremets churned out by the likes of John Mayer, Andy Grammer, Jason Mraz and Maroon 5.
I find this interesting, because, other than Mayer’s occasional routine under the guise of Delta Blues, none of these artists have ever managed to galvanize both my head and heart enough to warrant all that mainstream attention. They simply plug along as cookie cutter creations of the Hollywood hype machine in hopes that their anodyne melodies latch onto the public consciousness without fail.
Like Wonder Bread, they appear nourishing at first glance, but, in reality, they’re just as ordinary, uninspiring, and tailor-made for mass consumption as the rest of the drivel currently corrupting America’s adolescent population.

Therapy is helping the ‘Rhonj’ cast come to terms with some of their issues, but you could still cut the aerosol-filled air with a knife. Also, Teresa and Jacqueline finally talk (and burn) things out. Is their friendship finally back on track?
The cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey are still in Arizona for Melissa Gorga‘s birthday on the Sept. 1 episode, but the dry heat might be getting to everyone. Therapy sessions are going seemingly well for the group — so well, in fact, that the unlikeliest of people (we’re mostly looking at you, Teresa Giudice) decide that now is the time to talk things out. But is this just a calm before the storm?
The ‘Rhonj’ Attend Therapy Sessions
Melissa wakes up and declares that she’s sick of the emotional therapy sessions that the group has been having and just wants to have a drink by the pool.

Ever year a slew of uninteresting and uninspired thrillers are released (I mean theaters have to play something between the Oscars and Memorial Day weekend), and Bad Karma is one of them (even the title is uninspired—also: overused). In this thriller, Yates (Dominic Purcell) seeks revenge on his former criminal partner Jack (Ray Liotta) after he—Yates—is released from a 3-year prison stint. Yates was arrested during a job that Jack was supposed to be at, but Jack missed it when he had a life-altering car crash—so, of course, Yates has a huge grudge.

Always ensure that any risky situation is tested before putting actors in a potentially dangerous situation. This is the lesson director Suri Krishnamma (New Year.s Day, The Grief Tourist) took away from filming the thriller Bad Karma.
Set primarily on the Gold Coast, Bad Karma follows a reformed criminal played by Ray Liotta who is forced to confront his crime riddled past after it turns up unexpectedly in the form of a gun-toting Dominic Purcell.
Describing the film as a complex love story, Krishnamma said the relationship between the reformed criminal and his new girlfriend (Vanessa Gray) is what makes Bad Karma more than a simple psychological-thriller.
.I would describe it as a love story about a man and a woman where a man's past has returned to haunt him. He has a choice to either return to his old former criminal days or to embrace the new life...

A film can say a million things in 90 minutes and a single still shot can arguably do the same in 1/50 of a second. The art of capturing that one, powerful, awe-inspiring shot is the secret of many still photographers who canvas the world each day in search of pictures which tell a thousand words.
Jasin Boland, one of Hollywood.s finest motion picture stills photographers . best known for his work on The Matrix, The Bourne Supremacy, Mission Impossible and The Mummy films . says there are two things a feature film stills photographer sets out to do.
.Our job is to tell a story in a single frame as an artist and to go on set looking for that one iconic image. When I go on set my style is raw and dirty and although I try not to think about too much while I.m shooting, subconsciously I am. I...

Dominic Purcell has been cast in Paradise Lost by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. THR reports that the actor will star alongside Bradley Cooper, Casey Affleck, Djimon Hounsou, Ben Walker, Camilla Belle and Callan McAuliffe in the Alex Proyas directed action fantasy.
The film will put an action spin on the John Milton's epic poem about the war between angels in heaven. Purcell has been cast as Jerahmeel, an angel who falls in with Lucifer and ultimately becomes the Dark One's right-hand man as the renamed Moloch.
Purcell appeared last in the remake of Straw Dogs and Killer Elite. The Prison Break star just finished shooting Vikingdom and has Bad Karma and Officer Down forthcoming. I liked hm in Killer Elite and think he is a solild addition to the cast. What are your thoughts?...

The Dark One has found his right-hand man.
Dominic Purcell has been recruited for the war in Heaven (and below, and beyond) as he joins the cast of director Alex Proyas' "Paradise Lost," according to Heat Vision.
The hulking actor, probably best known for his role as Lincoln Burrows on "Prison Break," will be playing the role of Jerahmeel, an angel who falls in with Lucifer (Bradley Cooper) and ultimately becomes the Fallen One's trusted lieutenant and confidante as the renamed Moloch.
Can we just say "perfect casting?"
Purcell joins an ever-growing cast that includes Casey Affleck (Gabriel), Djimon Hounsou (Abdiel), Benjamin Walker (Michael) and Callan McAuliffe (Uriel). Diego Boneta and Camilla Belle are currently the front-runners to play first-ever humans and Garden of Eden outcasts, Adam and Eve, and word hath it that Proyas' "Dark City" star, Rufus Sewell, will be playing a role as well.
