What an incredibly intense episode. The main cast was pared down a bit to Robyn, Dante, Melody, and Harry and that was enough. Some of the scenes were difficult to watch because of the intensity. How can one human be that way to another human? Important story, great acting, solid direction, timely, and well done.

Some of the equalizer episodes are a bit cheesy, some are simple, not outstanding popcorn episodes, but this one stands out. It is a strong, intense episode. I have the feeling that the episodes are getting better in general due to improvements in story and directing. This time there was not much action on the side of the queen which is fine for this episode.
But as a fan of martial arts and queen latifah, i like it when my queen is kicking ass. Sometimes of course it is hard to deliver that because of her body weight. But would appreciate it if she never stops trying. But i guess that it super hard work to train tai chi to get the fluid movements and hard style moves to complement it and then create a tv suited action out of it. Showing a crazy hard style of my queen and maybe sometimes a soft, hurt, silent, struggling side of her in contrast would be great too.
I like her, like the show, like the energy of it and this episode is a strong one too with a bit less focus on her.
