Damon Gameau is on his way home from Colorado after winning an award. The Australian filmmaker, who is also known for his role in crime drama Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Cities, said that he was happy that his animated movie Animal Beatbox won the 'Special Jury Recognition' prize at Aspen Shortsfest. Various Aussie film fans accused Gameau of plagiarism when Animal Beatbox won Tropfest earlier this year. Some described it as "a complete rip off" and demanded that he be "de-throned".
