Adam Murphy (Paulo Costanzo) is a hot shot unscrupulous property developer and an unabashed bachelor. He works for Roger Whitacre (John Cho) and lives next to obsessed neighbor Frank Purdy (Tyler Labine). When his pee starts to burn, he is diagnosed with gonorrhea. So he informs his many past conquests. His next project is tearing down a community center run by Liv Ericksson (Ingrid Haas).

I really like a lot of these comedic actors. I just wish for more John Cho. Adam getting fired is the first misstep since it's followed by a section devoid of Cho. This movie needs more Cho, not less. Adam should decide to save the community center and quit his job. The movie feels scattered. Adam could go into a 12 step program which demands that he makes amends or his amends should have a more solid foundation. Like his condo, this movie has a flawed foundation. It's saved by some fun wacky characters and fun actors.

Very sweet

This film tells the story of a womanising man who is diagnosed with gonorrhoea. He reconnects with the women he slept with to ask them to go for a test. He discovers that there is much more to the women than that meets his eyes.

"That Burning Feeling" is such a sweet romantic comedy! Adam's journey to find all the women and then getting to know them is quite a beautiful one. He also bonds with his gay neighbour, and find the woman of his dreams in the meantime. It is so sweet, positive and simply very pleasant to watch. It is quite a surprise because this lesser known romantic comedy is very well made. I enjoyed "That Burning Feeling" a lot.
