Love this episode! I love that we get to see there lives outside to work! TK and Carlos are what made this episode great there chemistry and conversations were so good and needed!

The slow decline continues.

Much like its predecessor, 911, 991 Lone Star started out as a procedural show that started with the tragic demise of the original station. A new captain comes in a rebuilds a fire house with a new crew and the struggle to become a team. Even with all of that there was still enough of the procedural part of the show to be enjoyable to watch. I get through 2/3 of this episode and the only part that even related to an actual emergency call was the opening scene which was the first 5 minutes or so. When a show like this becomes more of a soap opera than a show about 1st responders it starts losing it's major premise. When there was finally another emergency it lasted all of 1 minute. All I can hope is that the writers can find their way back to the procedural part and spend a bit less time on all the emotional issues in every character's lives.

I don't understand why they are turning into this terrible character driven soap opera .. I do know it's because of Rob Lowe (there is a reason he has been in so many shows that get cancelled). Just ruining 911, would love this to be cancelled and do like a 911 Utah or something with more seasons and wilderness situations.

If I wanted to watch nothing but interpersonal relationship drama I certainly would not be tuning into a show titled 9-1-1! How absurd would it be to tune into any daytime soap opera expecting to see 911 calls and first responder scenarios? If your writers are out of new ideas for 911 calls, just cancel the series because this episode was way off theme and very disappointing.

Carlos is the only reason I watch this show, Rafael Silva is just amazing and beyond beautiful. TK annoys the hell out of me and I can't help it. If Carlos would do or say things TK does, TK would cause a never seen before draaaama and chaos! Carlos, please just find someone who will be good to you and for you.
