An entire day was spent shooting the film's haunted love making sequences. Actress, Tricia Yutuc-Strong, once described the day as a very long, nude, aerobic workout. "Charles and his team were complete professionals in how they handled the events of the day," says Strong. "I was naked for so long that day, under the set lights, that I think my tan lines got tan lines. But they were great to work with. In fact, I'd strip for Charles any day."
Director of Photography, Retullo Bazelli had never worked with the smaller super8mm film format, prior to joining the production. "It was a very frustrating medium to shoot with, yet remain effective. Several times, the vintage cameras used would simply stop working mid-take. Very difficult."
The film was shot in the summer of 1998/99 and sat on the shelf for almost a year before Charles Bailey chose to dust it off and begin his initial assembly. "For me," says Bailey. "The film was a deeply personal exploration and I think after shooting was finished, I was too emotionally attached to the material to look at it objectively." Three separate versions of the film exist as director Bailey pulled and pushed the material. Finally, in 2011 the film was released for public consumption.
The worms were the hardest aspect to film.
