"That would really mess up your day, wouldn't it?Because it would give you one more thing to feel guilty about."

Warning: Spoilers
Ruby and Romeo continue to feel the after effects of their ill-thought-out liaison, suffering from a large dose of suppressed guilt with an oblivious Indi caught in the middle. There's some interesting characterisation here, with Ruby's self-esteem at an all time low, Romeo torn between caring about her and not wanting to give her false hope and Charlie frustrated by the whole thing and delivering a choice put down when Romeo tries to make excuses. Her inability to tell Sid the truth is a nice touch. And the plot line makes good use of Ruby's diabetes, which the show has done well to utilise when it would be easy to push it into the background.

John continues his crusade against the River Boys to the point of being a bit daft. He's clearly jumping to conclusions about the drugs and only succeeds in getting Brax's back up.Brax then demonstrates that he shares his brother's habit for randomly kissing the Buckton women.

With all this going on, it's easy to miss the storyline involving Elijah and his family.Although the plot moves along a bit, it's largely a retread of the previous episode and the characters aren't really strong enough for their interaction with each other to maintain interest.
