Totally entertaining!
I have seen some Vitaphone shorts but certainly not all. This is the best that I have found. Nobody seems to get that this was high camp long before that term was invented. It is all a put-on and was probably goofing on some of the more pretentious vaudeville acts which accompanied the films shown in the theaters. If anyone takes "Cheri" seriously they are just too uptight, look at how she wanders offstage seeking Chloe - great satire! Should I get a working time machine it is straight back to that time and Dick and his gang will star at my endless Hollywood parties. See you there!
