A launch did occur at Cape Canaveral during production. The second unit was able to record the launch with their 4K cameras.
Due to the time period in which the movie takes place, the men in the scenes (mostly the NASA employees) would often have to have their shirts tucked in as low as possible due to their pants being belly button high.
In between takes, wardrobe would have to tuck the men's shirts in all around their belt loops, for those who moved around too much.

Chris Evans was originally cast to reunite with Scarlett Johansson but ended up dropping out due to scheduling conflicts and was replaced by Channing Tatum. This is the second project announced in 2022 originally starring Evans and Johansson that fell apart after Ghosted (2023), in which Johansson dropped out of that project and Evans stayed on.
This is the third film starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum together, but they did not share the screen in Don Jon (2013) and Hail, Caesar! (2016)
