This is kind of past the point of frustrating, as no-one's actions have any consequences.Charlie makes a mess of a drugs bust, letting Brax and Heath get off scot free and completely failing to realise the extent of her maybe-boyfriend's involvement.It's hard to see what she was hoping to achieve with her small talk to him and her warning to him at the end is so wide of the mark as to be ridiculous.Romeo also gets caught up in the drugs bust without any consequences aside from Morag being talked out of punishing him and Sid getting yet more evidence that he should keep him away from his daughter.
Meanwhile, Miles decides to sit down for a cosy chat with the woman who stole his foster daughter's baby.It's frustrating that Miles' first decent interaction with Nicole all year takes place on the end of a phone and mostly off screen but it's good to know that he does know how to contact her.Nicole's reappearance is something of a surprise but it's a shame it's to do with Marilyn, a character who's already swamped her story lines.
