Bearing no connection to her heritage, Korean-born Frédérique Benoît, a 25-year-old woman adopted by a French couple and raised as French since infancy, visits South Korea for the first time on a whim. And accompanied by new acquaintance Tena, impulsive Freddie reluctantly decides to trace her birth parents, unwittingly triggering a challenging voyage of self-discovery. However, heavy emotional baggage holds Freddie back. Like a fish out of water, the young visitor searches for answers in a strange, vast land. Instead, guilt and the language barrier stand in the way of closure. But on this unexpected journey of reconnection and truth, will the accidental return to Seoul help Freddie find her identity?
