First the Us, now the UK- the Seven Network is expanding its production footprint.
Seven has launched London-based production company 7 Wonder, a joint venture with former Maverick Television executives Alexandra Fraser, Liza Abbott and Simon Ellse. Its mandate is to produce programmes and formats initially for the UK television market.
This follows the formation last October of the 7Beyond joint venture with Beyond International, which aims to develop and create shows and formats for the Us. That office is headed by Michael Krupat, senior VP of development.

Billy Connolly went on what he called the ultimate road trip when he travelled America's most famous highway with his bike and his banjo, fulfilling a lifelong ambition.
But the 68-year-old Scottish comedian and presenter is not alone, according to a new survey. It was commissioned to mark today's release of the ITV series Billy Connolly's Route 66 on Blu-ray and DVD courtesy of Universal Pictures UK.
The older generation of today are living fuller and more exciting lives than their parents could ever have dreamed, the results found.
The 'easylifers', as the study branded them, are also more likely to be taking trips of a lifetime including gap-year type holidays where they volunteer abroad, take road trips in America or travel around Asia.
They also attend one music festival a year and research shows they change their car for a new one every five years and are partial to...
