Overall this does justice and I enjoyed it. It covers the origin & evolution of the challenge through the years very well. Each episode covers a specific aspect of the challenge and gives alot of credit to the challengers but I also loved the inside look / credit it gives to the crew behind the scenes. It also gives point of view from the shows producers that is very cool. The one major issue I have is that it completely dodges some major controversial questions that long time challenge fans want to know. They won't even mention certain challengers names that were fan favorites and critical to the success of the challenge over the years. It's obvious this is some type of effort to stay politically correct. I don't agree with this, to me there is no reason you can't talk about the historical facts of a tv show even if there was some controversy surrounding them. I'm sure there are legal issues or whatever but it takes away from how awesome this documentary could have been.

Let me first start out by saying I freaking love the challenge and I freaking love documentaries! I've been watching this show since I was a kid and this was a great walk down memory lane! Too short for my liking but I loved the different chapters the covered and the legends. I wanted to see more of the history aspect of the show, although they covered how some of the sets and challenges were created I still craves more. However, I enjoyed watching some of the older episodes where I was too young to really remember the more iconic legends. I was still yelling at my TV during the recaps and watching the playbacks. So many iconic moments. I cried, I laughed and most importantly i rewatched it.

Let me start by saying that i love the challenge and have been watching this show since i was a teen. I was really hoping for more from this doc. A lot of the unseen drama and rumors are left on the cutting room floor as mtv tries to glorify itself with this circlejerk.
If you were looking for a doc that actually delves deep into the hidden history of the challenge (the rumors, the never being called backs, the drama) you will be sorely dissapointed.
At certain points the refuse to even say certain cast members names to avoid the drama that would come from involving them
For the most part nothing shown or discussed here is new and it skips over so much that any challenge fan will be left unfulfilled with the amount they edited out.
