Garry Shandling, Mel Gibson and Jamie Foxx appeared in an 8 minute opening film "brainstorming" (without success) what they could do at the event. Jeff Roe directed and edited the film, which was shot at Rogers & Cowans offices courtesy of their - and Robert Downey Jr's PR Agent Alan Nierob.
Mel Gibson was the surprise - to the audience - Award presenter. He paused and said, "Mind you, you have to remember the person making the judgment."
