This is a mystery movie. The plot is unoriginal as it gets. Some people trapped in a facility, trying to find why are they here, as they face an imminent danger. I like this genre and my expectations are not very high.

It was an interesting movie, never dragged. Not great acting, just sufficient enough to not distract me. As it progressed, it was getting better. There were a few surprises, even characters looked more interesting and likeable. Still, i wouldn't call it a good movie, but definitely it was watchable.

Then, a totally unnecessary twist happened that ruined the final 10 minutes. Sure it was unpredictable, but definitely not clever. Another big revelation happens in the final minutes that there was not a single hint before. For a twist to be good, it must have been foreshadowed before. This came out of nowhere. Lazy writing.

Not a bad movie and you will probably enjoy it if you love mystery movies and your expectations are low. As for me, i didn't enjoy it much. My expectations were not high, but this was pure mediocrity.

Not terrible, but I am a fan

Best I can give is 5*. The movie itself is not terrible and even that bad, but there are some serious problems. It's predictable. Second biggest problem is the cast, I couldn't care less about those guys (I blame the writer, cuz actors are good). As it goes, movie is getting better and better, there are some aspects that are awesome: idea, sound, scenes, costumes, lights... but overall I don't recommend this if you are not a fan of "puzzle movies" genre. Since I love Saw, Escape Room..., and in general this type is my cup of tea, I liked it, but I wouldn't recommend with a full heart this, if you are not mistery lover.

This was pretty good, although predictable.

Seven people are kidnapped and suddenly find themselves part of a deadly game.

"Rule #1...you must choose one of yourselves to die." This was pretty good, although very predictable...it was like the antagonist looked me right in the face from the jump. You could fly a plane through the holes in the story and the puzzles that looked great at first really didn't stack up. This Spanish film is better subtitled than dubbed due to the fact that the dialogue is wrong when dubbed. This is a ok watch if you have nothing better to watch and have Paramount+.

A scuffed version of Circle

This movie is like a scuffed version of the movie Circle. It may look like that concept, but it lacks the intensity, the suspense and the heavy peer pressure that made that movie good. Sometimes a lower budget movie might work, but this is just a awful contribution to movies these days where the acting is also just plain awful. It is also not too much about this deadly game, it focus much mure on the characters which you never really build an interest in. Another problem is that they reveal too much early in the movie which don't exactly help to hold on to the mystery, that other well made mystery movies are able to do.

Great Cast, Great Story, Bad Ending

This was a really good production. The set was top notch. The cast did amazingly well. I don't think there was any one out of the main cast that wasn't exquisite. I am always particular bout overdubs so I usually prefer subtitles, but this was done very well so I enjoyed it.

The story was very creative. It has the whole Saw vibes initially with them waking up and being trapped in a house. But after awhile you realize what this is all about and the movie takes on a life of its own. The only issue for me was the last 20 min. It just didn't work for me. It felt rushed and I wasn't quite convinced when the whole big reveal happened.

But it was a good watch. I enjoyed it and would certainly recommend it.

It's quite bad

I don't like the cast much they aren't to intriguing and the prologue just jumps the gun into a group trapped which I guess is cool but the finished film isn't as good could've been this all has been done so much better! Probably the worst exclusive on paramount I probably could've seen a lot more on the service haven't really gotten a chance much since I've had it. Maybe for other demographics would enjoy this more it's pretty bad overall for a thriller about people trapped most others are more intriguing and have solid characters; this is all around poorly filmed even when people get killed the reactions are terrible! I don't recommend this at all.

Did what this kind of film needs to do

I always find it a little hard to get fully immersed in dubbed films. The voices never matching the look of the character and being out of time with the lips can be quite distracting. It's not the movie's fault at all, I'm very appreciative they do it so we can enjoy films from all countries, but it certainly does detract just a little from the film. All the same, I had a pretty good time with 'Death's Roulette'.

This is my type of movie it should be pointed out. A contained mystery/thriller set mostly in one location. Sign me up. The film did what this type of film needs to do. It kept things moving at a good pace and made sure there was always more than enough going on to keep us interested.

The entire movie isn't one location however. We do get a suspense sequence near the end set in a giant maze that I thought was quite impressive. The maze itself looked incredible and all I could think was how much I'd like to run that maze myself.

A couple of twists along the way and a sense that any ending was on the cards all added up to quite a fun viewing experience. 7/10.

Boredom's toilet

This is a Spanish rip off of Saw at best without more than a single original idea. The version of this on paramount plus was dubbed so the voice acting is pretty hit and miss. Though if the story or in this case since it was a horror movie the gore should make it into a great movie as there's plenty of great international movies

This comes off as lazy. You'd think in every room that someone would die. But nope, some reason this one reflects and they are just to continue to go to another room of this mansion or wherever they are. For all we know it's one of Pablo Escobar's former hideouts. Two of the cliches die before they are out in this maze and only one of them is actually killed by the group as there's a sniper and some woman who are in the movie for about 5 minutes maximum. The only kill that I felt was a bit poetic was the woman who gets hit by a car and ran over because she was high on drugs and ran over the killers mother. They seemed proud of this movie as it seems like there's potential for a sequel which I hope never happens.

This is just a forgetful slog through knee high mud and although the pacing is ok the fact hardly anyone dies inside the mansion it makes you wonder if they ran out of money for blood. I'm not expecting some blood bath but I felt they could have done way better. By the end of the movie I was just begging for it to finish so I could go to the dollar store with my brother. I'm sure I'd see 5 or 10 movies in the bargain bin just like this.

Not bad for a foreign language film

This is an ok movie, not in my native language, but i still managed to follow it.

The set up is a group of people who at first seem random (mostly) strangers, but as the plot develops, that is shown not to be the case. If that premise sounds familiar, it's because it's been done many times before, in movies such as The Circle, Escape Room and The Exam.

The acting is pretty good and the story is well paced, but where i have the biggest issue is with the ending. I won't spoil it but lets just say it left me feeling very unsatisfied.

This is worth a go if you have a short while to spare and are ok with subtitles (unless Spanish), but of you want good story writing, maybe this isn't ideal.

Very Good

I will ad,t. Going into this movie I thought it would be another knock off of escape room. But I was definitely surprised! This was definitely worth the watch and time well spent! It was not predictable at all like most movies nowadays are. Loved the camera work as well very vivid and even in the dark sense you could make out what was doing on. I saw a few actors i know, or that I have seen in other foreign films. I do believe each of the character's did awesome in making me believe this story was legit.

So definity a good movie is you like psychological / thrillers. Then this will be a treat for you. But as always be your own judge.

Excellent option on Paramount+

This new movie on Paramount+ is perfect to watch on a weekend night with your favorite person. A simple and well told story with twists and a common thread that hooks you to the television. It's nice to see the beginning of an actor as a director, Manolo Cardona has experience as a producer and now he dares to direct and had a great cast and a good choice of script in which he also contributed. It's not very bloody, but the story is quite twisted and makes you think at various times,"what would I do if I were in that situation?" The cast of actors each shine in their role, impressive how talented they are.

Spanish Escape Room

Turns out pretty good escape room kinda movies, with a shock & twist at the end !

At first I thought what a lame poster, almost not watching it, but saw Manolo Cardona stars in it, so I eventually gave it a try.

Storylines/drama are interesting, good pace, the stories are explains well.

Don't expect much like Oscar worthy or anything, because this just B rated movie.

Just something to enjoy if you have free time to pass.

I love Manolo Cardona such a great actor, can't believe he's the one directed this movie ?

Pretty talented now he's a charming spanish actor too.

If you love movie like this genre go for it.

Great, Mexican movie

I love to watch movies in Spanish, this was probably my first Mexican movie ever. I got Paramount + a while ago to re-watch the original Scream movies and besides that I found the rest of the movies they offered on there a bit ''sad''. One night I was scrolling through Paramount + and just decided to give it a go, although I wasn't in the biggest mood to watch a movie.

The movie is exactly like you'd expect it to be. At times it kind of reminded me of Escape Room, although this is a bit different. The acting was great and so were the characters storylines.

I personally did not expect the ending even though some might. Good movie, does what it says on the synopsis and trailer.

I don't normally like foreign films but...

Let me start off by saying that I don't like to watch English dubbed movies and at first opted against watching this but went back to watch it and boy am I glad I did. After setting the audio to English, I enjoyed this movie from start to finish.

There was never a dull moment and the puzzles and guesswork kept me asking "what is the motive behind it all?"

And that twist? Now THAT is what a twist is supposed to be! This movie is categorized a suspense and that is exactly what it is. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this movie! I think I'll find more foreign movies to watch, aa long as they are English dubbed. LOL.
