Chicago – It’s the popular Female Filmmakers Night for the First Tuesday Midwest Independent Film Festival, falling on the first day of October, 2019. Highlights of the evening include a Producers Panel, where women filmmakers will discuss the landscape, representation and career navigation in the industry. The short films include multi-award winning animator Meghann Artes (“Oh Baby”), the effects of Ptsd in a mini-documentary by Ashley Brandon (“On the Bit”) and “The Follower” by Patricia Frontain, which features John Seda of “Chicago P.D.” and Kara Kilmer of “Chicago Fire.”
