Newton Numbskull and assistant (Lucy Knoch) perform feats of magic, which all turn out badly. In the Skelton Film Scrapbook, called "Streets of Laredo", Deadeye battles Three-Fingered Ike who stole his gal, Dance Hall Norma. This skit evolves into a Tide commercial. Finally, in the Skelton Scrapbook, titled "Topsy Turvy", Willie Lump Lump's wife hires a carpenter to re-do their home to convince Willie to give up booze.
