In his opening monologue, Red tells several jokes about a fire at the Warner Brothers studio. In the first of three Skelton Scrapbook skits, titled "Telephone Trouble", Willie Lump Lump experiences misadventures with a telephone booth. The second Scrapbook, named "The Absent-Minded Announcer" finds J. Newton Numbskull having difficulties remembering the name of the sponsor he must promote. It turns out to be Tide detergent, which evolves into a Tide commercial. The final Scrapbook sketch, designated "Dinner at Cobina Wright's" features Clem Kadiddlehopper hired as a butler at the fancy dinner party.
