- A man is hung for his betrayal, but this is more sad than graphic. Very little actual violence shown.
- The final battle scene is somewhat gory, but it doesn't last long and doesn't linger on the violence.

- The tone of the whole film is at times dark and intense, but this is merely in keeping with Shakespeare's actual play.
