funny horror film
dlbryce7 January 2013
A funny horror film made in Cleveland Ohio and areas. Got to find out about how it was made as the director/producer and writer was my teacher. Quite different from any other horror films made. Can't wait to see it again just to pick it apart knowing about how it was made. Performances were very good by all actors. Even having people talking about what might happen next made this a great classic to see over and over again. Was a very late night out in seeing this film at the midnight showing of it, however it was fun, and even better there was a question and answer with the actors directors and writers. so we got some inside information on how and where it was made. A great film to just try out.

Hardcore 2 the Core!
yuvideo6 June 2013
If you are familiar with Craven, Kubrick, and Corman, you know what to expect: comedy within horror (or vice versa), dark twisted humor, funky protagonists and weird (and funky) antagonists, "animated" action, tits and ass, blood and gore (or "animated" gore), sex, and (of course) offensive language. And, let me tell you, it is here! The film makes fun of lesbian people, black people, white people, Southern people, French people, fat people, Russian people, and more... it's labeled (genre) as horror-thriller-comedy, but it's a plain hardcore-spoof-comedy, with ultra-funky characters, crazy (but very original "up-to-date" story-line), and super-crazy plots and subplots. And, the ending?! You have to see it - to believe it! Outrageous, out-of- nowhere, crazyyyy!

Fantastic Movie
skodaadam16 February 2013
Dying 2 Meet U is a fantastic movie with a great cast and storyline. It's very unique compared to most horror movies. It mixes comedy and horror to a very different level that isn't seen very often nowadays.

There are a few reality T.V show movies but this one is so different that you can't compare it to any other movie that uses the idea of a reality TV show. I really love how the death scenes are prepared and you know when it's gonna happen. It may disappoint a few people but in this movie, it works. I also love the special effects because it adds to the atmosphere of the film. Almost after every death scene, it jumps to a new scene and has comic relief. I definitely think that Kubrick and Hitchhock would be proud of this film.

The movie is never boring from start to finish. It grabs the audiences attention and doesn't let go. The gore is a lot like a Hitchcock film and the comedy is dark and well performed by the cast. The comedy kinda reminds me of Takashi Miike's Visitor Q, but it somehow works. Every character has some sort of different personality in their own way. If anyone likes comedy and horror, then you will not be disappointed.

The concept of the film is very original and the acting is well done by each and every character. If you like B movies that are entertaining and also mixes horror and comedy, then you'll definitely enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Great fun with a great twist

I thoroughly enjoyed "Dying 2 meet U". It had all the elements I look for in a film. I love how the director paid tribute to some of the great directors of our time. The production value was amazing. I could not believe this was not a studio sponsored film. The writers came up with some very interesting and creative ways to kill off the contestants. The soundtrack was also a pleasant surprise. I truly felt a connection to the actors. I loved some, hated others. They all had very different personality's which added to the conflict in the story. Sex violence, comedy, conflict, and a twist. This film has it all. Can't wait for the sequel!

Grindhouse and Corman - Fun!
DNight1002 September 2013
This weird penny-budget picture with no stars in it is only for those who are able to stomach the following on-screen stuff: a fat woman puking in front of you, another chunky woman enjoying her colorful cake too much, and couple of other young women freely taking their clothes off and displaying their natural assets, including full-frontal (or partial full-frontal). No, this is not an adult picture. There is much more in it: blown up heads, cutting, bleeding, drinking, joking, offending, and same-sex kissing! But there is also something much stronger. Dying 2 Meet U has some really, really cool and funny conversations between these bizarre characters. It takes raw parody to another level, and makes it darker and more "salty". I like it a lot. It's a modern grind-house cinema, with Corman's crazy touch, and nicely polished B-cinema experience... Dying 2 Meet U is an original little gem. See it!

Very Entertaining Independent Film
eVide28 January 2013
These guys had a midnight screening at Cedar Lee Cinema - Cleveland's famous artsy theater. And what a show?! Highly entertaining, well produced - without much of a budget, and it IS a good film. No stars in it, but lots of talent. The film pays tribute to classic horror cinema, and independent horror-comedy (and grind-house) flicks. Well written dialogues, cool cinematography, and very cool music tracks! I hope to see this one on DVD soon. It's a keeper. And, some beautiful ladies on the screen as well. No doubt - this little film will hit some festival screens very soon. It deserves more attention, and it will get it. Just the fact that someone decided to make some fun of stupid reality television - deserves to be awarded! Dying 2 C it again!
