Much of this episode consists of Kyle running around trying to find Jade before she leaves.Whether you care about this depends on how much you like Jade and indeed how much you like the idea of her and Kyle as a couple.Certainly, Malcolm doesn't seem to deserve the punch in the face that Kyle gives him for no good reason.The only bright spark is Dane, who, freed from the burden of acting like a Kyle substitute, actually...well, actually makes a pretty good Kyle substitute, being indiscreet with Kate and scamming a taxi company.Jade staying without seeing Kyle is at least a sign of character development, even if it is a bit of a cliché.
Meanwhile, Lucas investigates the attack on Chris with a bit of help from Aidan, meeting Chris for the first time.Even though the budget is so bad that Rhys sees an emergency patient in his office, there's some nice interplay going on here.Unfortunately, obvious suspect Warren seems to be a bit of a red herring so it's probably all wasted.
