Not a bad episode although as season finales go it seems a bit lacking. Karl and Susan's break-up has been dragged out for so long it's hard to get worked up about Susan finally moving out, especially when she's only gone next door.
The teens waiting for their exam results is incredibly tedious, especially when we're treated to everyone fawning over Summer as she tries to decide whether she's meant to be feeling guilty about cheating or celebrating getting away with it.It's very hard to watch the scenes where she seems to come out on top and characters insist she deserves it.
There is one refreshing moment though when Lucas stumbles across the person responsible for the attack on Chris and actually does the sensible thing and calls the police.Meanwhile, Chris' almost suicidal decision to ignore his injuries sees him, slightly conveniently, suffering a collapse right when help is out of reach.
