A bit too much Deja vu

Again, thank you Amazon for bringing 'Neighbours' back to all that love it.

This isn't a great episode though, with all the weaker characters getting their time in the sun once again.

I really didn't care two hoots about the Andrew/Sophie concert/blackmail storyline, and don't buy this whole 'rock chick' version of Sophie at all.

The Kyle/Jade storyline feels very similar to the one from the last episode, with the writers almost labouring the same point again and again rather than trusting that we as the viewer were smart enough to get the idea the first time.

All in all, it's fine, it's a good enough episode, but I'd rather some other characters take centre stage next time.

"What did he do to you?"

Warning: Spoilers
The relationship between Andrew and Sophie is the best thing on offer here, especially in the little scene by the wall where he gives her her pass.Despite her blackmailing him in order to get to go to the gig, and his shutting her down at the end, there does seem to be some genuine affection between them. And Sophie even starts behaving like a teenager and gets some action at last.

The rest of the episode doesn't have much to recommend it.Kyle and Jade continue to have the same conversation they've been having all season, complete with the plot contrivance of Kyle walking out before he hears what Jade's phone call is about. And Summer continues to try and remember whether she's meant to feel guilty about cheating or not. Andrew really isn't the best influence on her.
