While Jane dresses as Little Red Riding Hood, she starts to put red ribbons in her hair. She hears a note being slid under the door and goes to retrieve it, laying the ribbon down on the dressing table. She gets the note, puts it on a bedside table, puts on her cape and exits the room. When she appears in the hall, the two red ribbons left on the dresser are in her hair.

When he visits Phryne's house under a false name, Murdoch Foyle cuts Phryne's phone line without Jane realizing. In the following episode, Phryne calls her house to talk to her staff, and the phone is working.
Aunt Prudence tells Bert & Cec to be careful with the champagne. Phryne examines a bottle and says 'French! How heavenly!'. All champagne is French, otherwise it is classified as 'sparkling wine'.
When Phryne finds the candy apple that Arthur had been eating, the apple looked fresh. However seeing as it had been in a bush for at least a few minutes, if not a few hours, the apple should've been at least starting to turn brown.

It is a remnant of satin cording, but in this episode, the ribbon Miss Fisher receives in the anonymous envelope that supposedly matches the one she possesses is much different, a long, flat, velvet ribbon. These same flat, velvet ribbons are shown in Phryne's hair, in Frayne's memories of her sister.
