Romeo and Indi have the same conversations about whether or not to get back together, then Romeo ends up back with an increasingly desperate Ruby. The scenes with Indi and a sleazy photographer are vaguely interesting but seem to be another narrative dead end, although she and Dexter get some of the best material they've had together(and, indeed, with anyone)in a long time.
Jett's storyline continues to frustrate as his mother's death is once more used as an excuse for him to act like a little thug:His annoyance at Gina and Xavier pushing the issue is understandable but he's soon back to bullying VJ to make himself feels better and he's really hard to like.
As for the long-dreaded consummation of Dexter and April's relationship...well, if they were going to do it, then it's best they get it out of the way rather than making a big deal out of it and that's what happens here, with April not even appearing until the last ten minutes. And at least there's some humour to counterbalance the appalling cod-romantic dialogue Dexter spouts.
