Very good episode where 3 girls, who have been jailed 5 years for murder, have their case reopened. When the D.A.'s office admits that the DNA findings are fraudulent, the girls are given the opportunity to plead guilty so as to get out immediately for time served. What should they do becomes the thrust of part of the show.
The ever plotting mother-in-law, Jackie, is felled by a stroke. Even as she is stricken, Jackie is still plotting.
The best part of the episode is where Matthew Perry really proves himself to be a first class stinker here. He lies about Alicia to the press to advance his political ambitions to run for governor, but Peter Florrick, who will be hurt by his allegations, throws his hat into the ring at the episode's end with Alicia, as the dutiful wife, at his side.
