This episode ha a lot of humor in it, which is nice to have once in a while as a break to all the intensity and action. It was about them trying to bribe a local politician by drugging him and making pictures with a transsexual. Tig is just perfect in this episode because of how into Venus he seems to be. And his ass being bitten was also a great scene. The part of the step son coming was also good, especially since they found a funny way out instead of killing him.

I liked the scene of the sons meeting the Irish as well. Not just because of the awesome fight. But also because it felt so good to see Clay make the negotiation and just observe the fight from the side. He was so much like his old self.

Funny episode. We meet Venus who is a transgender. We have an amazing fight between Jax and Galen. We get another home invasion this time against the wife of Roosevelt. She gets shot in the stomach and she's pregnant she could scratch someone so we will propably know soon who is behind these attacks. I really don't like the new recruits in Samcro, they argue about everything and work against every descicion Jax makes.

Ridiculous but hilarious

Initially the fist fight with the Irish is stupid, so stupid I was like this is just like like the Irish saga.. poor. But Walton Goggins is hilarious, totally unexpected but with The Shield I was expecting him, just not this role. Amazing.

Then There is This One

There are good episode of Sons of Anarchy. There are great episodes of Sons of Anarchy and then there is this one. It is one of the best. Walter Goggins (from The Shield) guest stars and is outstanding in his cameo role as Venus Van Damme. The other characters Juice (Theo Rossi) and Tig (Kim Coates) also flex their comedic muscles . It's not all laughs though with Gemma (Katey Segal) still struggling. Her ongoing relationship with Tara really starts to deteriorate setting up some story lines we won't see for a whole season. Eli and his wife share a lovely lunch. When a character is happy this is usually not a good sign for the actor playing the part in this show and we see why in the later moments. There is a confronting little irony at the end as Kurt Sutter continues to push the boundaries (check his Twitter account if you don't believe me). It's a little shorter than some of the other but so shut off the rest of the world for 45 minutes of pure drama and entertainment. You won't find this kind of television excellence very often.
