As we reported earlier, ABC has pulled Trust Us With Your Life off the air after three weeks. Though the TV show has also performed very poorly in the ratings, co-star Wayne Brady contends that the show hasn't been cancelled.
In a recent audio post, Brady said, "Just a quick message to address something. Trust Us With Your Life has not been cancelled. It's been removed from the schedule -- due to scheduling (chuckle). Because, you know, it's been up against everything and its grandmother but it's only going to get better. It's gonna come back to the schedule. ABC's doing the right thing so, if you love improv, keep an eye out. It's not cancelled."
Given the terrible ratings, it's highly unlikely that ABC will renew Trust Us With Your Life for a second season, even if they do decide...

Clips: The Hoff's Cancelled "Trust Us With Your Life"
Fred Willard has been struck down yet again. ABC has announced it is pulling Trust Us With Your Life and replacing it with Wipeout because of Fred Willard's masturbation scandal, and just when it was about to get good! Tonight would have seen the appearance of David Hasselhoff on the show. Can you think of anyone else that was more made for Trust Us With Your Life? The Hoff is already a parody of himself, for crying out loud, imagine the hilarity that would come from adding another layer of parody on top of that. Wait, you don't have to image, because we have clips! And thank the TV Gods, because indications are this is the only look you are going to get anytime soon:
Damn you Fred Willard's libido, and Viagra, for depriving us of this comedy gold!

Beverly Hills, Calif. -- Fred Willard's improv series is a wipeout with ABC.
The network is pulling the last two original episodes of "Trust Us With Your Life," a move that comes two weeks after Willard's lewd conduct arrest at an adult movie theater.
Reruns of ABC's "Wipeout" will replace the Tuesday show hosted by Willard. The 72-year-old actor already had lost his job as narrator of a new PBS series, "Market Warriors."
In an appearance last week on Jimmy Fallon's late-night show, Willard said he was embarrassed by his July 18 arrest but insisted he had done nothing wrong.
The Los Angeles City Attorney's office determined that Willard's case was eligible for a diversion program that will keep him from being formally charged with lewd conduct if he completes the required courses.

ABC has pulled Trust Us With Your Life from the schedule. While the comedy improv series hasn't been officially cancelled, it might as well be.
Trust Us With Your Life debuted on July 10th and ABC has been airing a pair of 30-minute episodes each Tuesday. The show started off weakly with a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.34 million viewers. The numbers have gotten worse with each installment and the last one drew just a 0.6 in the demo with 1.83 million.
Following Fred Willard's recent arrest, ABC was likely hoping that the additional press might draw a bigger audience. It worked for Charlie Sheen and Two and a Half Men a couple years back but it didn't help here.
The network ordered just eight episodes of Trust Us and six have aired so far. They had scheduled a...

This just isn't Fred Willard's month. The 72-year-old Best in Show star was arrested two weeks ago for lewd conduct in an adult movie theater, an imbroglio that cost him his job as narrator of the PBS series Market Warriors. Now it's being reported that Willard's ABC show Trust Us With Your Life has been pulled from the schedule with two episodes to go. Free Fred!

Fred Willard has a lot more time to enjoy the theater now. ABC has canceled Willard's improv comedy series "Trust Us With Your Life," less than two weeks after Willard was arrested for allegedly committing a lewd act in a Hollywood adult theater. Also read: Fred Willard: The XXX Movie I Got Busted While Watching Was "Lousy" An individual familiar with the situation told TheWrap that the cancelation was unrelated to Willard's arrest. Indeed, the series' ratings suggest that no other rationale was needed to ax the show. After inauspicious premiere numbers, the...

Now Fred Willard might think this is a lewd act on ABC's part. E! News confirms that the last two episodes of the comedian's improv show Trust Us With Your Life have been pulled by the network and have instead replaced the Tuesday time slot with Wipeout reruns. ABC made the decision to scrap the remaining original episodes almost two weeks after Willard was busted for allegedly engaging in a lewd act at an adult theater, but sources tell us that this schedule change has nothing to do with Willard's arrest. Following his arrest, the actor was fired by PBS as the narrator of the new Market Warriors series, but claimed that he did nothing wrong,...

ABC has pulled new improv comedy series Trust Us With Your Life after two weeks on the air. The series was hosted by Fred Willard, and the move comes two weeks after his arrest for lewd contact. Insiders insist that the two incidents are not related. Indeed, unlike PBS, which fired Willard as the as the voice of Market Warriors right after the alleged incident, ABC kept Trust Us on the air last week as scheduled. Willard himself tweeted about that, “I was not fired from “Tuwyl,” so B sure 2 watch,” he wrote last Tuesday. But the controversy didn’t translate to a ratings bump, with Trust Me tumbling 33% from its anemic premiere to a 0.6/2 in adults 18-49 and less than 2 million viewers to become ABC’s lowest-rated telecast of the summer. The network will replace the remaining episodes of Trust Me with Wipeout repeats.

ABC is pulling Fred Willard's improv show Trust Us With Your Life. It has been said you can judge a society by how it treats its 79-year-old comedic legends who are caught doing something that every normal human being does on a regular basis.
Ok, it probably hasn't been said, but it damn sure should have been.
Fred Willard appeared on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday to talk about his new show "Trust Us With Your Life," but there was, of course, an issue he had to address first. And he did so with charm, grace and humility.
Though it must be said that the incident is something no one other than Willard should know or care about (and most of the internet agrees with us on that) the slightly uncomfortable but good-spirited chat between Willard and Fallon was a clear effort to put the issue to rest and let the actor move on with his career and life.

Fred Willard was Jimmy Fallon's guest on "Late Night" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. Et on NBC) Thursday and immediately addressed the elephant in the room.
Willard was arrested July 18th on suspicion of committing a lewd act while inside a Hollywood adult theater.
The Hollywood Reporter later broke the news that Willard was then fired as the host of PBS' new competition series "Market Warriors." However, according to RumorFix, Willard kept his other TV hosting gig, on ABC's new improv show, "Trust Us With Your Life."
The veteran funny man joked that "It's the last time I'm gonna listen to my wife when she says, 'Why don't you go out and see a movie?'"
On a more serious note, Willard admitted that the situation is "an embarrassment. It’s very painful, but I’ve tried to laugh it off."

By now you’ve probably heard that Best in Show beloved comedic actor Fred Willard was allegedly caught with his pants down at an adult movie theater last week, prompting undercover police officers to arrest him for lewd conduct. Subsequently, he was fired from his job hosting Market Warriors on PBS.
Up until now, Willard himself has been silent. But this morning, the actor tweeted, “Wait til u hear my version; much more PG. & my review, lousy film, but theater would make a terrific racquetball court. Full story 2 follow.”
140 characters or less, and the man still got a joke in!
