Helming the film's action sequences is Daniel Choi, a Korean American stunt coordinator whose credits include the critically acclaimed Parasite and the Korean Netflix original series Kingdom.
First draft of the film was written in 2008, when it was initially titled 'The Original Sin.' Over the next few years, the project underwent several revisions and title changes before culminating in its current form.
Some scenes of the film were shot in Beirut, Lebanon.
This collaboration marks the second time Director Amr Salama and lead actor Asser Yassin have joined forces since their critically acclaimed 2008 director's debut film, 'Zay El Naharda.'
Due to the untimely passing of actor Mostafa Darweesh - who was playing the role of 'Shihab' - during the production, some scenes required rewriting and re-editing to ensure the film's completion.
