Shawn says that Cyrus criminal record only consisted of petty theft and breaking and entering, nothing to indicate he was violent or a murderer. However when Cyrus' record was on the screen it showed he had no petty (misdemeanor) theft charges, his only misdemeanor charge was battery of a peace officer. He did have several arrests for grand larceny, assault with bodily harm, armed robbery and burglary of a pharmacy, all felonies. So he does in fact have a tendency to violence.
Jules holds up a bag full of pill bottles and mentions that Woody might need his anxiety medication, which he keeps in the break room refrigerator. However oral anxiety medications like benzodiazepines (alprazolam, diazepam, lorazepam) and SSRI antidepressants (citalopram, fluoxetine, sertraline) do not require refrigeration. SSRI's are supposed be stored at room temperature between 59°F and 86°F (15-30°C) and benzodiazepines have even stricter temperature requirements of 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C); benzodiazepine molecules actually degrade quickly at cold temperatures, if they are stored at temperatures below 59°F (15°C) their recommended shelf life is only 30 days.
When Shawn and Gus are in the general store there is a CFIA notice on the counter. CFIA stands for Canadian Food Inspection Agency, responsible for the safeguarding of food, plants, and animals in Canada. This sign would not be in a store in California, where Psych takes place, but it is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.
