• Queen of the Changelings : Hmph. Clever. But you're still too late.

  Applejack : I-I don't understand. How can there be two of 'em?

  Princess Cadence : She's a changeling. She takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off your love for them.

  Queen Chrysalis : [the Queen, enraged, sheds her Cadence disguise in a dramatic fashion, revealing herself as a large bug-like horse creature about the same size as Celestia, a crooked horn, and hole-riddled legs; she laughs]  Right you are, Princess. And as queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects. Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered. My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed of!

• Princess Celestia : Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, it is my great pleasure to pronounce you...

  Twilight Sparkle : [bursting into the wedding hall with the real Princess Cadence]  Stop!

  Queen of the Changelings : [angry]  Ugh! Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother?

  [she sees Celestia giving her a strange look, and switches to sobbing] 

  Queen of the Changelings : Why does she have to ruin my special day?

  Princess Cadence : Because it's not your special day. It's mine.

  Queen of the Changelings : What? But how did you escape my bridesmaids?

  Bridesmaids : [flashback to in the caves, where Twilight and Cadence were being cornered by the brainwashed bridesmaids; Cadence notices a bouquet of flowers of screen, grabs it with her magic, and waves it in front of the three mares. They shout out]  I want it!

  [and dive after the flowers as Cadence throws them in the other direction] 

• Princess Cadence : They'll never get the chance! Shining Armor's protection spell will keep them from ever even reaching us.

  Queen Chrysalis : [chuckling]  Oh, I doubt that. Isn't that right, dear?

  Shining Armor : [she makes the brainwashed Shining Armor nod his head absently]  Mm-hmm.

  Queen Chrysalis : [Angry, Princess Cadence starts to run towards Shining Armor, but Chrysalis stops her by stomping her hoof down]  Ah, ah, ah. Don't want to go back to the caves, now do you?

  [she glows her horn green as a threat] 

  Queen Chrysalis : Ever since I took your place, I've been feeding off Shining Armor's love for you. Every moment he grows weaker and so does his spell. Even now my minions are chipping away at it.

  [cut to above Canterlot, where the Changeling army is definitely hammering away at a weakened shield] 

  Queen Chrysalis : [laughing]  He may not be my husband, but he is under my total control now.

  [Twilight and Cadence gasp] 

  Queen Chrysalis : And I'm sorry to say, unable to perform his duties as captain of the royal guard.

  Princess Cadence : Not my Shining Armor!

  Queen Chrysalis : Soon, my changeling army will break through. First, we take Canterlot. And then, all of Equestria!

  Princess Celestia : No. You won't. You may have made it impossible for Shining Armor to perform his spell, but now that you have so foolishly revealed your true self,

  [they lock horns] 

  Princess Celestia : I can protect my subjects from you!

  [Celestia flies up and unleashes a powerful beam from her horn at Chrysalis] 

• Shining Armor : [while Chrysalis is distracted singing her villain gloating song, Cadence frees Shining Armor from the brainwashing spell that was over him]  No! My power is useless now. I don't have the strength to repel them.

  Princess Cadence : My love will give you strength.

  Queen Chrysalis : Ahaha. What a lovely but absolutely ridiculous sentiment.

• Queen of the Changelings : [singing up in the bridal chambers, the Queen of the Changelings is still disguised as Princess Cadence, and she begins to sing]  This day is going to be perfect/The kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small/Everypony will gather 'round/Say I look lovely in my gown/What they don't know is that I have fooled them all!

  Princess Cadence : [down in the caves with Twilight Sparkle, the real Princess Cadence sings her part of the song]  This day was going to be perfect/The kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small/But instead of having cake/With all my friends to celebrate/My wedding bells, they may not ring for me at all.

  Queen of the Changelings : [in a spoiled manner, back in the castle]  I could care less about the dress/I won't partake in any cake!/Vows, well I'll be lying when I say/That through any kind of weather/I'll want us to be together/The truth is I don't care for him at all!

  [singing grandly] 

  Queen of the Changelings : No I do not love the groom/In my heart there is no room/But I still want him to be all mine!

  Princess Cadence : [running through the caves with Twilight]  We must escape before it's too late/Find a way to save the day/Hope, I'll be lying if I say/"I don't fear that I may lose him/To one who wants to use him/Not care for, love and cherish him each day"

  [singing majestically] 

  Princess Cadence : For I oh-so love the groom/All my thoughts he does consume/Oh Shining Armor, I'll be there very soon!

  [she and Twilight find a mine cart that carries them along a track to a dead end, and when the cart hits the barrier, they fly up and over a chasm. Cadence uses her wings to cross them over safely] 

  Queen of the Changelings : [above ground, the wedding has already begun and the Queen is walking down the aisle as Cadence, with nopony suspecting she is false]  Finally the moment has arrived/For me to be one lucky bride!

  Princess Cadence : [still frantically searching for an exit in the caves]  Oh, the wedding we won't make/He'll end up marrying a fake/Shining Armor will be...

  Queen of the Changelings : Mine, all mine.

  [evil chuckle] 

• Shining Armor : [getting ready to leave in their carriage]  Twilight! None of this would've been possible without you, little sis. Love ya, Twily.

  Twilight Sparkle : Love you too, B.B.B.F.F.

  [they hug] 

  Shining Armor : [in the carriage, to Cadence]  Ready to go?

  Princess Cadence : Oh! Almost forgot.

  [she tosses the official bouquet of flowers out the back, and the three original bridesmaids - Lyra, Twinkleshine, and Minuette - prepare to catch it, only to be pushed aside by Rarity] 

  Rarity : IT'S MINE!

  [rushes to catch it in her arms] 

  Rarity : Oof! Ahaha... ha.

  [she sheepishly relents and backs off, holding the flowers with her magic instead] 

• Twilight Sparkle : [echoing, in some dark caves underground, Twilight conjures up a light from her horn]  Hello? Is anyone there?

  [distant laughter] 

  Twilight Sparkle : Where am I?

  Princess Cadence : [appears as a projection within multiple crystals above and behind Twilight]  The caves beneath Canterlot, once home to greedy unicorns who wanted to claim the gems that could be found inside. And now, your prison.

  Twilight Sparkle : [runs away from the image of Cadence]  Help! Help!

  Princess Cadence : [laughing; quickly changing location]  It's no use. No one can hear you. And no one will ever think to look for you, either. Most ponies have forgotten that these caves even exist. Which is why they are the ideal place to keep the ones who try to interfere with my plans.

  [laughing] 

  Twilight Sparkle : Plans? What plans?

  Princess Cadence : The plans I have for your brother, of course.

  Twilight Sparkle : Don't you dare do anything to my brother, you... you monster!

  Princess Cadence : Only way to stop me is to catch me!

  [She keeps moving her location while Twilight repeatedly tries to zap her with a blast from her horn; the evil Cadence keeps laughing] 

  Princess Cadence : Over here!

  [laughing] 

  Princess Cadence : Nope, over here!

  [laughing; glass breaking] 

• Princess Cadence : [Twilight's blast of magic from her horn destroys a ground-level crystal, revealing a dirty and disheveled Princess Cadence cowering behind it]  No! Wait! Ugh! Please! Don't hurt me! Twilight, it's me! Please, you have to believe me. I've been imprisoned like you. The Cadance who brought you down here was an imposter.

  Twilight Sparkle : Likely story!

  Princess Cadence : [begins doing the motion and chant she taught Twilight when they were younger]  Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves...

  Princess Cadence , Twilight Sparkle : ...and do a little shake.

  Twilight Sparkle : You remember me!

  Princess Cadence : Of course I do. How could I forget the filly I love to sit for the most?

  [the Queen of the Changelings can be heard laughing, with Cadence's voice, in the distance] 

  Twilight Sparkle : We have to get out of here. We have to stop her!

• Princess Cadence : [back inside the castle, Twilight and her friends have failed to secure the Elements of Harmony; Celestia is trapped in a cocoon, and Shining Armor is still brain-dead]  You won't get away with this! Twilight and her friends will...

  [six changelings enter with the six friends under arrest] 

  Queen Chrysalis : [to Cadence]  You were saying?

  [to Twilight and her friends] 

  Queen Chrysalis : You do realize the reception's been cancelled, don't you?

  [to her changelings] 

  Queen Chrysalis : Go! Feed!

  [they fly out the double doors, and Chrysalis shuts the door behind them with her magic; she laughs] 

  Queen Chrysalis : It's funny, really. Twilight here was suspicious of my behavior all along. Too bad the rest of you were too caught up in your wedding planning to realize those suspicions were correct.

  [laughing] 

  Applejack : Sorry, Twi. We should've listened to you.

  Twilight Sparkle : It's not your fault. She fooled everypony.

  Queen Chrysalis : Hmm, I did, didn't I?

  Queen Chrysalis : [singing]  This day has been just perfect/The kind of day of which I've dreamed since I was small/Everypony I'll soon control/Every stallion, mare and foal/Who says a girl can't really have it all?

  [evil chuckle] 

• Twilight Sparkle : [after Chrysalis and the changelings have been defeated, the wedding continues as normal]  Seriously, though. I get why the queen of the Changelings wanted to be with you, but how did you get someone as amazing as Cadance to marry you?

  Shining Armor : I told her she wouldn't just be gaining a husband, she'd be getting a pretty great sister, too.

  Princess Celestia : [to the gathered crowd]  Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of the real Princess Mi Amore Cadenza...

  Princess Cadence : [humbly]  Princess Cadance is fine.

  Princess Celestia : [smiling warmly]  Hm. The union of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor. The strength of their commitment is clear. The power of their love, undeniable. May we have the rings please?

  [Spike presents the rings on the pillow, and Celestia levitates each ring onto the couple's horns] 

  Princess Celestia : I now pronounce you mare and colt.

  [cheering from everyone in the room]
