Great pop-in and play jumping, kicking action. Controllers are rather smooth and hit detection is good, even kicking while jumping between up and down. There are some power-ups which help trash multiple foes, and a couple enemies a bit more powerful than your average foot soldier.
The four levels in the game are well designed, but could certainly use more. Getting knocked out and having to start over though is deflating when there was an opportunity to just ask for another quarter to keep going. Having some kind of story or ending would've been nice rather than endless looping. Also there could've been some fantasy bosses like a dragon or monster. Simultaneous two player would've doubled the action.
