Saturday’s episode of ‘The Voice India’ began with the public voting results of team Mika and team Shaan. Host Karan reminded viewers that the winner would receive a record deal with Universal Music and prize money. The special guest for this episode was legendary playback singer Usha Utthap. Ushaji has sung many famous Bollywood numbers from ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ to the more recent ‘Darling’ from Saath Khoon Maaf.
It was then time for host Karan to announce team Mika’s public voting results. Tanvair was safe and Passang was eliminated. Passang thanked all four coaches for supporting her through her journey on the show and she feels very lucky to have made it to the Top 4. Host Karan then announced the public voting results from team Shaan. Snigdhajit was safe and Ritu was eliminated. Coach Mika took a selfie with Ritu and her brother. Now each team has 3 contestants.

Saturday’s episode of The Voice India began with host Karan reminding the audience that the winner of The Voice India would receive a record deal contract and prize money!
The first team to perform were Team Sunidhi. Coach Sunidhi chose Parth and Niyam for this round. The song she gave them was ‘Wallah Re Wallah’ from Tees Maar Khan. As seen with previous episodes, Hitesh Sonik was helping coach Sunidhi guide her contestants (similarly we still see Kanika Kapoor with Mika Singh and Wajid Khan with Shaan. Coach Hr’s own experience proves he needs no such extra help). After a wonderful performance from both Parth and Niyam (they received a standing ovation from the coaches), it transpired that coaches Hr, Shaan and Mika were neutral with their decisions! They could not choose between the two singers. This naturally made the decision tougher for coach Sunidhi. She eventually chose...

We have seen great carmaderie between the fabulous four coaches on the very popular musical reality show ‘The Voice India’.
Another recent example of this friendship, is when coach Himesh Reshammiya supported Shaan’s contestants Amrapali and Sana during their performance. Himesh loved Sana and Amrapali’s performance so much that he went and stood on stage with them to give them encouragement. According to a recent article at radioandmusic.com it is reported that Himesh said “both contestants are bright and performed brilliantly.” He also added that it would be difficult for Shaan to choose between the two contestants. (Sunidhi) Chauhan and (Mika) Singh also praised the performers.”
Contestant Sana Aziz said, “It was a nice gesture by Himesh Reshammiya to encourage us. I could not believe that he liked our performance so much.”

All four coaches on The Voice India (Himesh Reshammiya, Mika Singh, Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan) have finally chosen 14 members of their team. It is now time for their contestants to battle it out against each other and prove themselves in the forthcoming Battle Rounds.
The contestants (after being mentored by their respective coach), will be singing the same song against another team member. It will be their coach who will decide from the performance, who will remain in their team and who will be eliminated.
Speaking to RadioandMusic.com, the ‘fabulous four’ coaches gave their views of the Battle Rounds. Shaan said, “The experience so far has been simply amazing, the quality of singers is exceptional. Week 4 of the popular new musical reality show The Voice India, continued with the fourth round of the Blind auditions. As the coaches aimed to fill up their remaining spaces in their teams, the competition to choose the best singers just got a whole lot tougher!
The first contestant of Saturday’s episode was Passang Doma Lama. Passang is 19 years old and she originates from Gangtok, Sikkim. Passang performed a lovely religious ‘Bhajan’ which pleasantly surprised the ‘fabulous four’ coaches, as the Bhajan also carried a number of classical traits. Coach Mika was the first to buzz, followed closely by coach Hr. Coaches Shaan and Sunidhi did not buzz this time. Passang chose to be in team Mika! The second contestant was Vishva Shah. Vishva is 25 years old and is from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Vishwa performed ‘Tu Hi Re’ from Bombay. Coach Shaan was the first to buzz, followed by coaches Mika and Sunidhi.
