Earache au go go

This popped up my youtube channel. And was a show I had never heard of. When I saw the line up included an early appearance of The Walker Brothers, I had to watch. Its obvious it's a copy of Hullabaloo and the like, complete with non stop go go dancers, and it started off quite well. But then we got none stop bump bump bump bump all through the show from the resident drummer which actually made my tinnitus worse. The presenter thought he was Dick Clark on overdrive and everything became an assualt on the senses. The acts were obscure, but that's not a bad thing as you got to see and hear music you never heard before. Its all uptempo, in your face, then a folk group came on but everyone kept dancing as if it was an uptempo dance song. Ah well, I bet the kids enjoyed their moment of fame. I think only episode 6 survives which is a shame, but I don't think I could stand to watch another episode anyways. As for The Walker Brothers, they were good as always, but I dont know why Scott had a bass guitar with him, as he didnt know the songs bass line and made an attempt to make it look like he was playing the bass, when he kind of badly miming his playing. Better things for him were to come!
