This episode had a good premise to it, but the execution was just never quite there. You had two doctorsalmost fighting for attachment over their connection to the renowned cardiologist which hurt the impact of his untimely passing. I feel like there were other stories that did not get appropriate time this week because of it too which made for bad timing.
This is still the best medical show on TV by a mile and we can only hope it stays on the air beyond this year. But this episode highighted that even when they have interesting concepts to play out the writing and execution of them needs to be better.
