Paul Solet's Dark Summer has landed Stella Maeve in the lead in the horror which tells of a 17-year-old in house arrest in haunted confines. Deadline reports that Ross Dinerstein of Preferred Film & TV Media is producing the film while Jamie Carmichael serves as executive producer. The indie film starts shooting this week. Maeve's been a busy actress since 2005, with film and TV credits under her belt, including The Runaways, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Bones, House M.D., Starlet and All Together Now. She's in post production phase on Flipped with Michael Madsen and is shooting Manson Girls...
