... and the subject is potatoe, from production to market to buyer and we see lot of forgotten scenes from the farm to the ancient market in "les Halles de Paris". Poor farmers with used clothes and rich businessmen in costumes yelling on their employees. Another curiosity is to see Marcel Duhamel and Pierre and Jacques Prévert. This short was shot in collaboration with the Freinet movement who showed it in classes. You can see this short on the "Ecole Buissonnières" (directed by Jean-Paul Le Chanois) french dvd, telling the stunning story of Célestin Freinet.
