When Reverend Rick Renkin is found murdered on the grave of Warrick Brown in a cemetery of a bad neighborhood where Warrick lives, Russell and Nick investigate the scene. Then Brass and Nick interrogate the king pin of the area, the gangster Aaron Voss, that denies the killing of the reverend. Nick goes to talk to Warrick's widow Tina and meets her son Eli. When evidence of the reverend's shoes shows blue chalk, Nick remembers that Eli has drawn with blue chalk on the floor of the entrance of Tina's porch. Finn and Sara visit Tina and find evidence that the criminal Cliff Paul has been in the house. Further, they summon the Child Protection Service to take Eli from Tina. Soon the LVPD find the body of Cliff who felt two storeys down from his apartment. When Tina says that she gave Warrick's stuffs to his young friend James Newman, he becomes the suspect of the killing.
"Fallen Angels" is another good episode of "CSI", with the return of Warrick Brown. The plot is well-resolved, as usual, with many technical research of the evidence. It is amazing how two women that have no child decide the fate of a mother. They believe the child would have a better fate in a foster house than with his flawed, but loving mother. This is the low part of the plot. My vote is seven.
