Rather Good For An Ultra Low Budget Horror
omendata9 December 2020
I must admit I am surprised at the lack of reviews for this little gem in the coal bunker of low budget chop-chop horror.

Good acting, decent camerawork and pretty good gore effects for such a low budget; this actually beats most of the million pound+ horror releases out this year and has a certain style and biblical undertone which gives the movie a bit more substance than your usual stalk and slash derivatives!

Good acting all round elevates this above your usual cheapo, puny budget, trashy horror and puts this on a different shelf - well worth a watch average 5 hatchets out of 10 for this one!

Could Have Been So Much Better...
soulcrisis283 January 2021
It starts out feeling very real, like you're on a ride along with a real police officer. Then are protagonist steps in. The opera style singing... good lord. I muted the movie because it got so annoying and over bearing. Next, the kidnapped girl, while easy on the eyes, has a very annoying fake cry. MUTE AGAIN! Her acting is bad enough as well as the evil guy playing cop that they just suck the realism out of the movie that it started out with doing so well. I'll be honest, I'm writing this as I'm sitting here watching this movie but I don't see it improving. The special FXs aren't too bad. Like I said, could've been way better but bad acting and bad direction ruined this movie.

It's so, so, so BAD. It's not even a movie, nothing but stupidity trying to make a movie with a cheap camera and ultra bad acting.

Stupid.
sharkbait-8738815 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
He was dragging a police officer by the legs, the other officer saw him and he suddenly disappeared and the other officer had no idea he was behind him? If there was a 'supernatural' aspect to this, it should have been more obvious. Ultimately stupid.

Stupid movie, could have been decent but another forgettable horror!!

Extremely low budget shot with a camcorder, your typical bad low budget actors with a pathetic story. Had potential at one point but became apparent that it was going completely downhill and the ending scene and completion make it a 1 its absolutely impossible to be a 10 so we all know those are shill reviews by friends or the crew itself.. a 10 not on this planet!!!!

Horrible. Horrible horrible. Positive reviews are obviously fake

This movie is basically very bad. Found footage is possibly my favorite horror sub genre and this film seemed to promise a solid viewing experience from the start with the decent trailers and a half way decent first 10 minutes. However, after the rookie cop is murdered the film takes an irredeemable nosedive and goes south immediately. This director has made a movie back in 2001 and this trash film is his first in almost 20 years. You would think he would have put a little more oomph into it considering its clear he has a passion for filmmaking. Some directors are just all around bad at filmmaking though and this is a prime example. Awful casting, basically awful acting, a super annoying and unappealing villain and nothing to root for. My friends make better found footage movies than this trash. Cant believe i almost bought the blu ray for 17 bucks. Sheesh

Intense!

This film jumps quickly to the action. There is little plot other than the questioning of what is evil and God's role. Bloody judgement is on display and the film questions if or what the perpetrator is. Frightening and stark, this film doesn't shy away from violence. Low budget (so don't expect high quality special effects) but it does well enough with the basics.

Cruising For Jesus
UltraMaximal21 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is a slaughter film veiled with way too much Christian mythology. Some demon possessed a dude steals a cop car and he drives around debating "God" with a whiney woman in the back seat in between killing people that have broke the law. Whatever.

They did try,but not hard enough
rosecalifornia1 October 2022
Look, we all know filmmakers need to begin somewhere. And doing so they have lowbudget sometimes (unless they get big backing for a poor script for some reason).

This could have been a little better with inexpensive adjustments. Filming quality was poor, in looks like a very camcorder era film. Just rent proper equipment from a university.

Stop hiring family or friends as actors. They can't act, eve.n if you think they can. Hire actors for free that need screentime.

The main actor was so not believable in h8s role, costuming was poorly done. Even the 3xt4as mill8ng about in the quickie mart has no dire tion in moving/milling about.

The film isn't worth wasting time. It jumps from scene to scene without sense.

Really good
rockclimber-107955 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The dialog between the unknown man and the woman is something that deeply resonated with me. I am a Christian, but I have asked myself the same questions that he asks time and again and it shakes my faith deeply. It really makes me wonder truly what God is. This is a very troubling movie so if you are a Christian, think twice before you watch this. Most probably watched this for the gore, but this movie asks some deep philosophical questions about God. God knows the whole script does he not? God created good and evil. I will leave you with that. The unknown man, demon, angel...whatever he was, the actor was great and very creepy.

Wow!
haskel-7295128 November 2020
Despite a nonexistent budget and a very uneven performance from the male lead, this was something else. Just when I thought found footage was done for, I find this unknown gem. Great premise and brilliant idea to use multiple cameras/video sources to get past the "why are they still filming" trap inherent to found footage. Highly recommended to those that can get past the trappings of ultra low budget indie filmmaking. This is one to seek out.

Do you believe in God?
ocosis28 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. This was pretty messed up. A possessed, or murderous psychopath kills a police officer, and then steals his uniform and car. Then proceeds to kill everyone he comes in contact with. A women is detained by him and taken on a night of Hell. Cruiser is effectively nightmarish with just the right hint of supernatural undertone.

Fun fast paced with a savage of a killer.
omgitsbeez6 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The film starts off by introducing us to a uniformed police officer on his Dailey rout, all seems well and normal for him as he passes by several locations in what seems to be a routine day of dealing with drinking minors, a convince store who employed some one who may have provided the minors with alcohol and passing conversations with another officer that works in his precinct. Things quickly take a sharp turn when he comes across a truck that's plates are registered to a missing person, this is where we meet a strange man who's says they he "goes by many names" when asked by the officer why he was driving a vehicle that belonged to a missing person he simply replied with "it came into my possession". At this point the officer requests that he puts his hands behind his back to be handcuffed, the man turns and quickly kills this officer, drags him away and begins to sing. He steps off camera and the sound of wet chopping can be heard, he then Re appears now fully dressed in the police officers uniform and steps into his cruiser, starting it and slowly backing away from the scene, the front camera of the cruiser revealing the decapitated corps of the officer left on the steps of a local church. That's all I'm going to touch on when it comes to spoilers, I just wanted to set the tone of the film. Written by Sam hensley jr. and directed by randy Ser starring Shuler Hensley, Cruiser is a none stop thrill ride shot in the style of found footage through go pros, police car mounted cameras, cell phone and surveillance footage. This was clearly a low budget movie with a lot of heart and dedication put into it, the singing madman is a hard not to love antagonist.this movie is a very tense and fast paced movie that once it picks up it does not stop until the credits roll and leaves you as the audience to pick up the pieces and draw you're own conclusions as to what and why everything that had just transpired before you're eyes happened. My personal experience and thoughts on this film are as follows. The pacing of the movie kept me locked In and captivated by what was happening in front of me, now this is not a hard core gore flick but does manage to disturb in other ways through violent images and cleverly timed camera cuts and angles. I honestly really enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to any other found footage aficionados out there. From begging to end I enjoyed cruiser as I'm sure you will to.
