Sid and Lisa seem to go full circle from going out to...going out over the course of this episode. While this seems a bit rushed, it actually goes rather well, with a nice use of Dexter as the buffer between them: His and Lisa's scene together on the beach is actually rather sweet. It's nice to see Sid have something to do besides worry about his family.
Romeo is back to pushing himself hard in train in reaction to a couple of comments from Alf and Roo and, although he ultimately makes the right choice, you'd have thought earlier events would have had more of an effect on him. It's hard to take him and Indigo seriously:The literal fireworks as they kiss seem misplaced on all levels.
Meanwhile, Jett and VJ decide to take advantage of John and Gina's separation to get up some mischief. The plus side is that this does result in John and Gina behaving like a team for the first time in a while, which is good to see.
