Amazing setup

I admire what I saw here, it just brings out the brilliance of this writer and director. The mashup was insane, this is what makes this episode above all. I think the ending made it more interesting, and it will make you question everything that happened before. Even tho, every episode had "it", but not as much as this one in my opinion. Great acting by all, seemed real at times.

What I like about this series is that its not predictable, everyone has his own character, also some of the scenes are hilarious, and you will see one of those in this episode. Great staff.

Great (A Grade)

The Only Survivor

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with Kit, he has a axe in his hands and his face is full of blood. Kit has a family with Grace and Alma. Alma knocked down Grace with an axe, she died instantly. It's 1968, Jude is still at Briarcliff. Alma has been brought to Briarcliff after she killed Grace. Angel of Death stabbed down Percy with a knife. It is 1969 and Lana made a book about her adventures. Lana sees Kit again. Kit visits Alma at Briarcliff. Alma killed herself with an overdose. Jude is the only one who survived Briarcliff. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 2, will Kit and Lana work together to lock up Briarcliff forever? We will see it next episode in the last AHS Asylum!

ups and downs in the penultimate asylum episode
jackDee-5656519 January 2021
Again great acting and some horror makes the episode enjoyable but the horrible way characters and story are written from the aliens to kit living both his first wife and other wife and their kids felt unrealistic, lana s character is so freaking unlikable the way she just threw her own baby out of her life and lied about much of the story in her book, the best part was Dylan mcdermott as johnny trying to get revenge by finding his mum lana

American Horror Story: Asylum Continuum
dalydj-918-25517520 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Episode starts with Kit covered in present red blood wielding an Axe. Then back to before this event we see Alma and Grace somehow have seemed to get along in the group of three with Kit. They take care of their kids and Grace seems to be drawing what she remembers of the abductors. Alma worries about Grace being obsessed with the aliens. Kit is told by Alma to hang out with Grace because she feels distant. Alma seems to still have problems with the aliens unlike Grace who has accepted it. While Kit is talking to Grace Alma comes from behind with the Axe killing Grace. Back to the asylum where Jude in her crazy state seems to be running the place. Jude is now known as Betty Drake because of dying as Jude. Timothy is organising the release of Jude before his leave. Then in walks Angle of Death dressed as a patient because of overcrowding in Briacliff. Dark Angel and Jude do not get along as Jude becomes scared of the angel. When they then must share a room together Jude finally loses it and we all learn Jude was imagining it and the dark angel was just a normal women. We then learn some truth about Jude and how she has become so confused she mixes up time and people including the leave of Timothy and many roommates she has had. While Jude remains in Briacliff Lana is having a great life with her many fans who read her book. While signing signatures after a a strange reading Lana is visited by Kit who wants to talk to her. They go to have a coffee and talk about promises not kept by Lana to close down Briacliff. He tells her of Alma's craziness and death in Briacliff. Most importantly he tells her Jude is still alive in Briacliff but has almost gone past the point of sanity not knowing who he is. Lana does not want to do anything because she believes Jude has made her bed and must sleep in it know. To the future where Johnny looks for Lana's book with the plan to find her and kill Lana like Oliver his father never go to do. I now know this show is going to end awful with my least favourite characters being the focus of these final episodes. I don't expect to like the finale but will only watch because of Jessica Lange's over the topness most amazing performance. Still horrible saved a bit by Lange and Paulson at the moment.

EPISODE GRADE:D- (MVP: Jessica Lange)

S2.E12 - Death, Fame and Insanity [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S2. E12) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 2 Episode 12 ''Continuum''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Alma, Grace and Kit are all one big happy family? That's super weird. Alma just killed Grace? That's insane, why? Timothy says that he will let sister Jude leave the asylum? Wait, that was just sister Jude hallucinating? That's sad. It seems like sister Jude is losing it. Lana is now a successful author? Interesting. Her books is full of lies? Alma is dead? I didn't see that coming. Overall this episode was good, my rating is 9/10.

Fizzle....
sartr-117 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Feh. This show has taken every wrong turn imaginable in the last couple episodes. Kit, Alma and Grace we find living in domestic tranquility with no attempt to bridge that with the previous episode. Then, after Alma encourages Kit to pay more attention to Grace, she suddenly develops an insatiable desire to chop her up with an ax. I guess, in the mind of the writer, everyone is a potential ax-murderer.

Lana on a book tour for her smash success book, finds herself taunted by visions of her serial- killer rapist baby-daddy and her lover, who left Lana to rot and who was killed by said serial killer, and yet in Lana's mind they are now in league because she feels soooo guilty about embellishing her book and covering up her lover's homosexuality (which they were covering up when they were together, anyway, because they didn't want to commit career-suicide by outing themselves. Duh!). Yeah, right. And she's hallucinating all this, so I guess she really was nuts all along.

Jude imagines the new inmate as the angel of death coming to get her, but no, another hallucination. While she's also hallucinated that the last 3-4 years didn't happen. Pointless filler.

Alma is shipped off to the now extremely infamous Briarcliff, and Kit has nothing to say about it. And then she just dies of natural causes (unless we learn otherwise in the last episode). Naturally, when Kit is there as a visitor, he gets to walk around among all the inmates so he finds Jude sitting at the jukebox.

Pepper is unceremoniously killed off off-screen, the writers obviously too bored with it all to bother tying loose ends, anymore. And the Santa killers fate is similarly left to the imagination. All we know is that he continued a killing spree of nuns around the country and is the topic of Lana's next book. Pfft.

Another scene with neo-Bloodyface expositing his hatred of his mother. I know! This is not new information! Are we to be surprised that he intends to kill her, or has that point been driven home in every episode since he's appeared? No, it's just more padding.

The word for it is FUBAR. Next weeks episode will either be the greatest comeback in television history, fitting all the wildly disparate pieces together, or the least necessary season finale in television history.
