Painful viewing.

Star is taken in for questioning, refusing to give The Police her identity, Jack and Nikki spot a detail in a photo, and begin the trail.

What on Earth was this?

Did executives and producers watch the finished product and think that people would actually enjoy it? I'm so sorry to say it, but this was one of the worst things I've sat through for a long time, badly acted, uninteresting, slow, cheap looking, hollow, trite, incredibly unrealistic.

DI Zari Abbas didn't work for me, nor did The Sergeant, both were woefully uninteresting. Hannah Rae did her best, but was sadly really up against it.

I sincerely hope for the sake of the show and the huge fanbase that something is offered next week, so far every episode has been off par, Star however, this is definitely the show's lowest point.

At this stage, I think it's perhaps worth writing series 26 off, I think I'm done with it. Hopefully, The BBC will get it back on track should it return for 27, how about begging Liz Carr to come back, employing a new writing team, and asking them to focus on actual stories, rather than the obvious theme we've had throughout this series.

I didnt think it could get any worse but it has. These past 2 episodes have been so incredibly boring. I used to be gripped by every story but not any more.

I couldn't care less about any of the new characters.

I am beyond fed up of the relationship between Nikki and Jack. No one cares! They are just not believable as a couple.

No one cares about 'Influencers'. Why bother making an entire story about them?

The writers really need to do a lot better if they hope to carry on for season 27. It used to be such a good show but its gone down hill so rapidly it's shocking. I really hope they pay attention to the poor reviews for this season.

Another good episode,plenty of twists and turns.good suspense.thank god we still have drama that doesnt take 6 to 8 weeks to show a conclusion.2 bbc shows i never watch now are shetland and line of duty.total bore fests that drone on week after week.if i went to the cinema and the cinema manager told me id have to return 6 times to see a finish id tell him were to stick it.take note bbc.anyway back to silent witness.really good episode.im really enjoying this series,especially after last years poor series.bbc trying to turn the programme into another 6 week bore fest.it was the worst ever season.back on track this year thank god.

Really Painful to watch

I've been a long term advocate of Silent Witness And Prime Suspect with the Former being my favourite...Right Up until series 25 and Now Annoyingly 26 (which seems to have Surpassed Series 25) I could Skirt around the Writing and the Bad acting as well as a Jewish intern who in my opinion just has no right being in this show yet why prolong the obvious.

"It's now a boring,unimaginative,Badly Acted, Show plain and Simple" Star (this episode) has to be the worst so far of series 26.

Deary me I'm 58yrs old with a Replacement hip and Knee Reconstruction yet even I could have Caught the on the Run Star!!!

As for The On Screen Romance between our 2 main characters well that needs addressing as its getting to be just too much airplay in each episode.

A message to the Writers:- Get your Act together for Gods Sake and get back to basics..You know? Like how it used to be? Otherwise I can See this show being cancelled.
