The Lyell team continue to try and discover exactly what happened inside ths tunnel, Jack has a very close shave.
After some brighter elements in the first half, it unfortunately plunders back into the doldrums, I'm so sorry to report, but this is another shocking episode from this wretched twenty sixth series. The story, which initially had some points of interest, nosedives, it's boring, flat, and doesn't gel, just all over the place.
Frankie is the most irritating TV character of the year so far, I think she actually gave me toothache, so irritating, the same can be said for most of them.
If I want a lecture, I'll watch something late on BBC4, I don't want or need it from a long running crime series.
Jack's story with Ouife, not sure I really bought into that, it didn't quite work. Ouife was unpleasant, rude and impossible to like or empathise with, she was in good company here.
Sadly, Nicholas Gleaves was barely present here, such a shame, as he was in another league altogether, he seemed to be the one who managed to bring something.
3/10.
