Warning: Spoilers
Excellent episode with Michael J. Fox, as Attorney Lewis Canning, attempting to match wits with Alicia, this time in a cold, wintry inn in Minnesota.

The two just prove again and again how shrewd they can be when they're up against each other in a legal situation.

In the meantime, Will and Diane try to stave off bankruptcy, and their overseer, a wonderful Nathan Lane, isn't making it any easier for them in trying to get them removed as the heads of the company.

Losing Attorney General candidate Wendy Scott Carter goes out for full revenge in trying to implicate Eli Gold in a scheme in her never ending attempt to get the goods on Michael Florrick, now candidate for governor and the man who had beaten her 2 years ago in the election for the A.G. position.

Not one of the better episodes

I like this series but this season has had many writing errors and continuity issues. First in this episode is that Alicia had already met Cannings wife in a previous season when visiting his home. Second is that a wooden fence won't actually stop the Aedes Aegypti mosquito. An opposing attorney says, "...the aedes aegypti mosquito only travels 20-30 feet.", and that the wooden separates the lots. Most mosquitos travel 1-3 miles during their active periods of a 24 hour day and up to 100 meters after feeding. The aedes aegypti travels a kilometer or more each 24 hour period. Any mosquito can make it's way around a neighborhood. A major part of the plot hung on this and impacted two episodes afterwards. Each episode this season contains at least two of these type of super obvious errors.

Not one of the better episodes

I can't be the only viewer that was really tired of the Nick storyline and glad to see him gone last episode, albeit in a weird character arc sort of way with Kalinda.

Now we have Wendy Scott-Carr showing up again, played predictably by a woman that should focus on doing ASMR instead of trying to be some bad ass lawyer on an otherwise bad ass show. It's a weak character that's been overused and wedged into too many scenarios.

This episode just felt disjointed all around. It must have been written by the "B" team because the characters just felt off. They're shipping Kalinda to Minnesota from Chicago with a bag of clothes? Really? Alicia doesn't remember meeting Mrs. Canning in season two?

Not one of my favorites.

Warning: Spoilers
Lockhart/Gardner this week are dealing with forecloses. At the same time Diane and Will are being called to mediation for bankruptcy. Will returns to the case and we learn the girl is suing because of a disease she got from a pool. Alicia is gone off to meet with someone involved in the case. The opposing lawyer is once again Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox). She is given three hours to speak to the president of the bank Wilkes (James Rebhorn). Alicia starts her questioning but Wilkes makes a speech about how banks are made to be the bad guys. Alicia shows him some photos of the young girl suing. Wilkes then leaves which will not make the judge happy. Back in Chicago Eli is visited by Peter supporter Frank Landau who may have some worrying news. Eli is being looked into and Frank tells Eli he should have backup so Peter's campaign does not go downhill. Alicia goes to meet Wilkes once again but he does not show up. Before she leaves Louis hands her some new information about the pond being near the swimming pool. Diane try's to talk to Clarke who she finds out has made the notice to make Diane and Will no longer partners because he believes they are messing up the law firm. Alicia goes to meet with Wilkes again but once again he does not show up. Alicia is told one of Louis's friends died and he wants to give a eulogies and leave. Wendy Scott-Carr turns up and is on Eli's case so he believes she has a bias. The women Alicia meet in the cabin store was Simone Canning (Susan Misner) Loui's wife and finds out Louis did not have a dead friend. Alicia goes to meet with the president who does not show up again so Alicia gives Louis another report. Back in Chicago trespassing is brought up and the case might be dropped. Eli meets Jordan Karahalios (T.R. Knight) who might be his new replacement calling him the old guy. Alicia now brings two witnesses in front of Louis getting the judge to force Wilkes to come. Diane meets with Wendy's campaign adviser to get some information of Wendy so he calls her which is what Diane wanted to happen. Alicia in the cabin gets a knock from Kalinda with some new supplies for her. In Chicago Cary has to testify and after questions from both sides it does not look good for Clake. Kalinda rings the private number Louis called and finds out Wilkes has unknown public cancer. Wendy comes with reinforcements to get files related to Eli at the law firm because of the case. After making the writer leave Alicia brings up cancer which allows her to get to money to keep the secret quiet. Diane and Will are not removed with this case win and someone buying bad debts. Alicia is leaving but finds out Louis was the one to buy the debt. This was a weird episode and Fox was not as strong as past appearances. Anika was great again and cannot wait for more of her arc. The guest starts such as Nathan Lane and T.R. Knight are doing much better work then the main actors on the show.

EPISODE GRADE: C+ (MVP: Nathan Lane)
